Oyster IMS wins major new client in Retail Sector

Oyster IMS are delighted to announce that following a short evaluation exercise, they have been selected to provide records management consulting services to a major UK retailer.

The work is already underway and the first stage involves a review project covering the main UK head office functions as well as the main retail departments. Alongside this, Oyster IMS will run also perform a GARP (Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles) assessment allowing the client to understand whether there are issues around information accountability, transparency, integrity, protection, compliance, availability, retention and disposition.

This is Oyster IMS’s first major win into the retail sector and shows that the requirement for good information management and proactive governance is pervasive and not restricted to the legal sector and the traditional regulated sectors of pharmaceuticals and financial services.
